Elected Officers
President:
- Oversee guild
- Conduct monthly guild meetings and meetings of board
- Prepare monthly meeting agenda
- Appoint committee chairs, offer assistance to committees as needed/requested
- Provide newsletter report
Vice President:
- Stand in for president if required
- Coordinate and develop programs
- Communicate program homework to membership in advance of the meeting
- Provide a brief article of the previous months program for the newsletter
Treasurer:
- Keep accurate financial records (prior period balance plus collections less funds disbursements equal period ending balance)
- Collect and disburse funds
- Prepare monthly report
- Prepare budget, with input from board members and committee chairs
- Communicate with the Membership and Wenbeditor Chairs of current good standing members based on dues paid
- File form 990 or delegate responsibility
Secretary:
- Take accurate, timely, and complete minutes of meeting business
- Maintain notebook of historical and current minutes
- Read outside correspondence at guild meetings
- Send correspondence, including thank you notes to speakers, hosts, etc.
- Arrange for minutes to be read/taken when absent
- Upload minutes to the guild website
- Birthday cards
- Maintains calendar
