Dawn Goetz called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.

 

Duties and Expectations: Dawn handed everyone an agenda for tonight’s meeting as well as duties for Elected Officers and Standing Committee Chairs. We were asked to review them and if there were any changes to be made. The only changes were that Francine Ebersman will continue to file Form 990 instead of the Treasurer and that the calendar will be maintained by the Communications Chair, Harriet Lawrence.

 

Committee Chairs: The following guild members will chair committees:

 

 

            August 6                                            February 4

       September 10                                  March 4

     October 1                                           April 1

     November 5                                       May 6

       December 3 (Holiday Party)           June 3

 

Round Table Discussion: It was discussed how to increase and retain the membership such as publicizing the guild in Valley yarn shops and creating a group on Ravelry. Also discussed was the importance of ensuring that members have their current contact information in the Membership Directory. Another point mentioned was to have more members become involved with the committees in the guild.

Dawn adjourned the meeting at 7:30 p.m.
